Washington Rock State Park
Washington Rock State Park is located in the heart of Morris County, NJ. The park is mostly woodland, so it’s a great park if you want to hike and explore the outdoors. It’s also a good spot to enjoy the peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Located on the top of Watchung Mountain in Green Brook Township, Washington Rock State Park is an excellent place to hike and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Allamuchy Mountain State Park
Located in Allamuchy Township, this state park is approximately 27 miles west of Morristown. The park is home to 14 miles of marked trails perfect for horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking.
There’s plenty to do at Allamuchy Mountain State Park, including boating and kayaking. There is also excellent trout fishing here, along with picnic facilities, a playground, and a campground.
