Smartworld was founded on the concepts of community and a belief in social responsibility and sustainability.
Their range of espressos includes cappuccinos, mochas, and lattes. We especially love espresso drinks and can highly recommend the white chocolate mocha, the whipped cream, and white chocolate as an extra-luxurious taste to this classic pick-me-up. If you’re just looking for a straight, no-frills coffee, you have to try their Magic City blend, which is a fine medium roast. They also serve a variety of teas and will make an excellent iced coffee if you want one. Smartworld is located at 74 South Street.
Swiss Chalet Bakery
Swiss Chalet is one of the best local bakeries on the East Coast, known for and wide for their outstanding baked goods. They’re also known for their excellent coffee selection. The bakery has both inside and outside seating, and the clean and functional interior reminds you very much of Swiss precision. Each cup is precisely made, just like a fine Swiss watch.
Their selection of coffees isn’t huge, but because they focus on coffee the way most coffee drinkers want it. Often, when you order a coffee you’re confronted with far too many decisions when all you want is a nice, hot cup of Joe. Their espressos, cappuccinos, iced coffees, and regular coffee are straight-down-the-line great-tasting coffee with no unnecessary frills. Swiss Chalet can be found at 176 South Street.
Lokl Cafe
This awesome local cafe was started by two best friends, Peter and Yianni, who had a dream to open a European-style cafe in Morristown. They succeeded superbly. Lokl is a premium local stop for students, business people, and anyone who wants a cup of amazing coffee in quiet. They have more than fourteen types of coffee available, including coffees you won’t find in more trendy coffee houses.
Aside from the regular choices of espresso drinks, regular coffees, and iced coffee, they’re one of the few places in town that serves genuine Turkish coffee. They also make one of the best affogatos in New Jersey. Lokl is located at 80 South Street.
