1. Cooper SE Hardtop 2 Door
This electric model gives you 181 horsepower and gets the equivalent of up to 110 miles per gallon. You’ll also achieve a zero-to-60 time of under 7 seconds. The Cooper SE comes with a standard 5.5-inch dynamic digital instrument cluster, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system with HD and satellite radio, and remote keyless entry.
Driver assistance tech includes rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, and forward automatic emergency braking. The Hardtop has 9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 34 cubic feet when you fold down the second row.

At the top of the lineup, the John Cooper Works trim gives you 228 horsepower and a 5.9-second zero-to-60 time. You’ll also get 29 combined miles per gallon. This model offers an optional eight-speed automatic. It comes standard with larger wheels, upgraded Brembo brakes, bolstered sport seats, and sport-tuned suspension. The John Cooper Works is the only Hardtop model that’s also available as a convertible.
