After having a REALLY unpleasant experience when I first looked at a Mini at another dealership at adealership, it was an absolute pleasure to work wkith my salesman, Dave Dobler. He was patient, courteous, honest, friendly, really knew his product, and helped me make some really important choices when I built my Countryman. Dave rearranged his schedule (he came in hours early to accommodate me) on the day I picked up my car, and he took the time to run through a "lesson" on the rear car rack accessory he got for me at a great price. Morristown is fortuate to have Dave on the team; from the moment I first spoke with him on the phone, I knew I was sure my experience was going to be a good one. I highly recommend him - and Morristown Mini, and I intend to drive those extra miles right back to them for any service I need and any furture Mini purchase I make!" 2.5"Sales department was very helpful when I bought the car. They are great and I assumed service would be just as good. After having my mini I visited the service department to inquire about adding racing stripes to my car. I brought pictures for what I wanted and left them with the employees I spoke to. No one contacted me. A few months later I got a flat tire and needed to go in for service. I had purchased the rim and tire protection and was told it was simple when I got a flat. This was anything but simple. I brought the contract for the insurance with me figuring it would be needed. When I spoke to the girl at the frot desk she was confused what rim and tire insurance was. I explained it to her and left her my phone number to call me when it was finished. We went to have lunch and was wasting time because I hadn't received a call. We returned to the service deparent and the same girl hands me a bill for the tire and says they didnt start it because she wasn't sure if I wanted it done. I was furious. I gave her all the information they needed before I left. We had to wait another hour and a half. This infuriated me because my boyfriend and I wasted the majority of our day off to get this done. There is no reason for a flat tire to take 4 hours. I wont be returning to the Morristown Mini service department. I will also go somewhere else for the racing stripes." 4.5"What started out as a not so wonderful experience,ened up Exceptional. I had an 11:00 am appointment for routine maintenance.I was told it would take approx 1-hour. I sat and waited for almost two hours, and noticed that my car was still sitting in the parking lot, and not looked at yet. I spoke with the front desk, who in turn brought out the service manager who advised that they would provide a loaner car for me, and call me when the work was completed. I received a call Monday, that the car was ready to be picked up. I arrived at 8:30 pm. The Sales dept, brought out my car, and it I was quite surprised to see that not only was all the repairs completed, but the car was washed, waxed, interior and exterior was shiny and beautiful. 1.0"I was in Delaware visiting friend and it was sunday and visit a non Mini mechanic who suggested my brakes were dangerously gone ans need change immediately. I follow advice and I did changed.. when I arrived I visited Mini service and I am very disappointed and I felt that i was robbed. what a disappointment. The mechanic explained to me that one of the brakes were incorrectly installed and it need to be changed and re-installed in order to be covered by the Mini service plane again. Immediately I contacted to the mechanic in Delaware and I let talk to Mini mechanic and Delaware mechanic explain the Mini mechanic that the brakes were correctly installed and was not changes to install incorrectly because was only one way to install the brakes. After the conversation of both mechanics I decide to keep the same brakes but the Mini mechanic and the service representative did not allow to this option. As a result I end up paying more than $350 for a job that took 5 minutes. Total spent of money was $900 between Delaware and MINI service. This type of employee damage the image of a serious company. Once I arrived at the dealership, it was explained that the type of service I requested wasn't available during the weekend. I was offered alternative service that would "hopefully" address the issue I was having. If I've requested a particular service on the weekend yet that service isn't available, it would be nice to be informed prior to making the appointment. If the alternative didn't address the original problem then I would have had to make another appointment during the week.
